We have a range of children’s bikes available for families cycling the Great Taste Trail. There is the option of 20” and 24” wheel bikes. For the smaller of the kids, we have brilliant Follow-Me bike attachments that allow the young rider to be towed behind an adults bike or it can detached so the child can cycle independently.

The latest 1×12 wide-range gearing means only one gear shifter; it’s so easy to use. With disc brakes and fast rolling tyres, the Merida 120 600 might just provide your best cycling experience yet.

Avanti Tandem Bike
Experience the A2O trail in unison on our amazing Avanti Tandem Mountain Bike. With mountain-bike tyres, a 27 speed gear range and disc brakes, this tandem is a very trail-worthy machine. The frame size is based on a Med/Large for the front rider and a Small/Med for the bike rider and has great adjustability to achieve comfortable riding positions.

Pricing
** The Follow-Me attachment is only available with the hire of both an adults bike and a 16” or 20” wheel kids bike. There is a $35.00 setup charge to cover the fitting of the Follow-Me to the adults & kids bikes but from day 2 onwards there is no additional daily hire charge for the Follow-Me.
*** The child seat is not available on all adults bike models due to the specific rear carrier required.

When booking your bike rental, select a bike by matching your height to the frame size. Please contact us if you need any assistance with sizing.
Keep in mind when you arrive to pick up your bike we can help you by making some minor adjustments. And all of our bikes are already fitted with very comfortable seats.
